Studio Sircus

Studio Sircus is a concept design think tank and creative consultancy for story place making and media based experiences. The Studio is also engaged in the development of proprietary media properties. Studio Sircus is led by Jan Sircus and is located in Vancouver, Canada. The Studio collaborates with an internationally renowned network of highly talented technology, entertainment, and design experts. The work on this site is the result of many such collaborations. In virtually all of the selected projects, Jan Sircus was the conceptual and creative lead or co-director (See footnotes for each page).

Jan Sircus

Jan is an experienced and internationally recognized Creative Director with broad-based conceptual skills designing innovative media experiences, visitor attractions, world's fair/expo pavilions, olympic venues, themed entertainment concepts, and destination resorts. Jan’s skills and background include story, art direction, media and theatrical attraction design, architecture, urban design, and master planning. His experience includes Executive Producer roles, guiding and facilitating diverse creative teams. Jan has worked at all project scales, from painting a picture, writing a script, or creating a media show, to conceiving an expo pavilion, a theme park, or a multi-faceted entertainment resort. Jan has a special interest in the creation and development of media based content for the arts and entertainment.
